At Rainbow Alchemy, we're all about turning dreams into vibrant, tangible reality.
Founded by Lio, our journey towards breaking glass began with a lifelong fascination for the sheer wonder we experienced when viewing historical stained glass windows. In 2022, Lio decided to take a leap of faith, embarking on a quest to tame this mystical and wondrous art form.
We're not your typical glass artists. We thrive on pushing boundaries and exploring the alternative, the modern gothic, witchy, fantasy, pop culture, and the retro geometric realms of stained glass. And the journey is far from over; in 2024, we'll be venturing into the captivating world of glass sculptures.
At Rainbow Alchemy, we take pride in being a LGBTQIA2S+ owned business. We believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity to inspire creativity and innovation. We at Rainbow Alchemy would like to acknowledge we own and operate our business on Indigenous land in Treaty 6 territory. We honour the many Nêhiyawak [Cree], Anishinaabe [Saulteaux], Niitsitapi [Blackfoot], Métis, Dene, Nakota Sioux and Inuit whose footsteps have marked this territory as traditional meeting grounds, a gathering place and travelling route. This land has been enriched by the culture, traditions and languages of it’s Indigenous people which has in turn benefited non-indigenous people with generosity, hospitality and knowledge.
Rainbow Alchemy is a Queer owned business, dedicated to collaborating with businesses that reflect the diversity of our community. We place a special emphasis on supporting businesses that have been marginalized by society, including (but not limited to) female entrepreneurs, 2SLGBTQIA+ business owners, and Indigenous enterprises.
